GHASSAN KANAFANI

Ghassan Kanafani grew up in the Denver area and graduated from Colorado State University with a major in Finance. His first job out of school was working for JP Morgan Chase in homeowner’s assistance and it was there that he obtained extensive training in mortgage and real estate. Ghassan’s mission to meet the needs of homeowners financially while practicing the highest ethical standards began at Chase and have maintained ever since.

Armed with this knowledge and experience Ghassan took the next step. In 2002 he moved over to mortgage origination with a strong mortgage broker, Proffer Financial. During his 5 years of employment there he excelled as the number one originator. Proffer quickly promoted him to Senior Loan Agent and eventually to managing 15 employees.

As the industry changed, Proffer adapted. Having the ability to offer clients the best possible service was and remains the number one goal. In 2007 Proffer partnered with correspondent lender RPM Mortgage in order to take advantage of their exceptional mortgage banking platform. RPM is a brilliant and principled company that weathered the recession with grace and is at the forefront of the new mortgage market. RPM continues to expand and new branches are opening across the nation.

RPM chose Ghassan to open and operate the Denver Branch.

While continuing to serve his own clients, Ghassan is building the new office. He is hiring experienced loan agents that meet their client’s financial needs in a timely and well-executed manner while upholding the highest ethical standards.
