Background
With a lifelong passion for the business of real estate, Janet began her career as a Real Estate Agent in Contra Costa County. Within a few years, Janet was licensed in 3 states, winning sales awards, and buying her own investment properties.
Eventually, her successful real estate career was interrupted when she and her husband purchased an auto leasing company in Walnut Creek. Janet elected to join the family business.
Within a short time, she found her niche within the company by specializing in the financing aspect of the auto business, arranging auto loans and leases for hundreds of individuals and businesses across the state.
Coming Full Circle
After 20+ years of owning and operating the leasing company, she renewed her love for the real estate industry. By combining her financing expertise from the auto industry with her experience as a Realtor, she had the perfect foundation to secure mortgage loans for her clients.
Having spent her entire career around the 2 biggest assets in most people's lives, Janet fully understands the highly emotional nature of buying or refinancing real estate. Her years of experience in the credit world have made her an expert in dealing with lenders and creating strategies to secure the absolute BEST financing scenarios for her clients.
Janet writes a popular blog, California Mortgage Advisor, which covers up to the minute issues related to buying, selling, and financing California real estate. This award winning blog is often quoted in the mainstream media, and Janet is often interviewed as a mortgage expert.
Janet has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, 25+ years experience as a California business owner, and has won numerous awards for outstanding sales, marketing, and client satisfaction as both a real estate agent, and a mortgage lending specialist.
