JEFF SOKOL & JEFF RYAN

Jeff Sokol began his career in the mortgage industry 24 years ago after noticing a lot of inefficiencies when getting a loan himself. He decided to put his skills to the test and has been a mortgage professional ever since.

Jeff worked at a mortgage company for 2 years before deciding to open his own brokerage, 1st Western Home Loans. 1st Western Home Loans quickly grew to become a big success and was ranked 7th in the nation out of more than 8,000 mortgage companies.

Jeff owned and operated the company for 22 years before deciding to sell the company to RPM Mortgage in May 2010. He remains the Branch Manager of the RPM Mortgage Danville office and has kept his loyal loan agents and staff working with him.

Before working in the mortgage industry, Jeff had his mind set on a career as an electrical engineer and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from The Cooper Union in New York City.

He worked for General Electric for 10 years as a Manager of Manufacturing for several of their Product Divisions including their CAD-CAM, Nuclear, and Ordnance Systems Divisions. As a part of GE's Manufacturing Management Program (MMP), Jeff traveled to Japan with GE's top management team to bring back the "Just in Time" production system to the United States facilities.

In 2011, Jeff was RPM's number one loan agent. His total loan production was over $110 million. He takes great pride in giving his clients the best rates and advice about home financing and home ownership.

Jeff has a wife and two children and has lived in Danville for over 20 years. He enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with his family in his spare time.
