RE/MAX ACCORD OPENS NEW MONTCLAIR BRANCH WITH
RPM IN-HOUSE LOAN AGENT, DON GATES
RE/MAX Accord launched another preferred lending partnership in its Montclair office today with RPM in-house Loan Agent, Don Gates.
RE/MAX Accord Montclair is now one of six RE/MAX Accord branch partnerships with an in-house RPM loan agent. Other branch locations with a preferred lender include Fremont, Pleasanton, Livermore, Lafayette and Danville. Other RE/MAX Accord locations which RPM will have an in-house loan agent placed in soon include Castro Valley and San Ramon.
Gates offers Conventional, FHA, VA and Jumbo financing to meet the needs of his diverse Bay Area clientele and makes it his number one priority to provide an outstanding level of service to each one of them.
“I am totally committed to making the mortgage process transparent to my clients,” said Gates. “In an important transaction like a home purchase, what people want more than anything are clearly defined options, understandable language, and timely updates. My clients deserve to know where they stand at every phase.”
RE/MAX Accord selected Gates as the preferred lender for the Montclair office based on his experience working in the mortgage industry for over 10 years and his knowledge of the Montclair market.
“I am very energized by the chance to partner with the RE/MAX Montclair office because it represents my home and my community, and together we have a chance to serve the very diverse and vibrant market that is Oakland and the East Bay,” said Gates.
Anna Ruotolo, SVP Strategic Alliances for RPM Mortgage, elected Gates for the in-house loan agent position based on his experience in the area and work ethic he has shown in the past.
“I had the privilege of bringing Don into the mortgage business 10 years ago,” said Ruotolo. “He is a solid Loan Officer and a solid person. His knowledge of loans and the Montclair market will serve the RE/MAX Accord agents and all clients very well.”
Gates is an Oakland native who returned to the upper Rockridge neighborhood 11 years ago, only three minutes away from his new office location. He stays involved in the local community by feeding the homeless at his church, being involved in All Souls Parish in Berkeley and acting as team lead for Open Door Dinner.
Gates lives with his wife, Pat, and has two grown daughters. He enjoys golfing, hiking and listening to live music in his spare time.
