I first spoke with Sam Krueger in the fall of 2006 about refinancing a home I co-owned. Sam spent hours with me going over options for the refinance and was very helpful and thorough. Even though we chose not to refinance at that time, Sam was still available to answer questions and explain the purpose behind different types of loans. Then, in the spring of 2007, I was planning to buy a home in San Francisco. Sam was right there and got everything going for the purchase. After six weeks of negotiations and turmoil, the deal fell apart. I turned around and found a place in Oakland two weeks later and Sam was able to transition from one failed deal to a close of escrow on another house in less than 14 days. Amazing. Sam was wonderful to me throughout this whirlwind process. He was always very supportive and understanding and he took the time to educate me on the financial aspects of buying a home.
