In 2000 I changed careers, and have been very pleased with my choice of Residential Mortgage Lending. I was previously in the High Tech Industry, and bring over 30 years of business experience to Real Estate loan origination. My small business ownership gives me additional appreciation of the needs of the self employed borrower. What I like most about mortgage lending is the one-on-one relationship that develops. Homeownership is often the single largest purchase a borrower will make. With the median price of homes in the Santa Cruz area topping $600,000, this is a huge investment. A home purchase or refinance typically occurs infrequently and can seem very complex. The key to my success and the most enjoyable part of my new profession is my support and education of borrowers. I have been a resident of Santa Cruz County for over 34 years and my children both grew up here. I enjoy sailing on Monterey and San Francisco Bays, and have recently found a new creative outlet sculpting in clay.
